Melas Hotels & Resorts Vulnerable Groups and Child Rights Policy
As Melas Hotels & Resorts, with the awareness and responsibility that comes from being one of the leading institutions in tourism in the region, we aim to fully fulfill all conditions of human rights and child rights by treating all our guests equally, including children and vulnerable groups.
Act with the awareness that women, children, the elderly, disabled individuals, and those with special needs are groups that need protection and respect.
Recognize every child as an individual, respect their rights to live, develop, and be protected, and safeguard them from all forms of psychological, physical, commercial, and other exploitation.
Ensure that vulnerable groups and children are kept away from any approaches and abuses that could negatively impact them physiologically and psychologically, and be mindful of sensitive communication with them.
Provide environments and opportunities within our facilities that contribute to the development of children, where they can comfortably express their thoughts, wishes, and emotions and feel free and relaxed.
Provide regular training to all our staff on protecting vulnerable groups and child rights and ensure their continuous development.
Take the necessary legal and administrative measures within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Social State understanding in our Constitution, improve all necessary conditions, and support children's more active and happy participation in life.
Ensure that children participating in activities are under adult supervision.
Inform hotel management if we witness any suspicious actions concerning children, and notify law enforcement when necessary.
