About Green Key

What is the Green Key?
The Green Key Program is an international eco-label that supports and rewards initiatives aimed at protecting the environment, preventing climate change, and contributing to sustainable tourism.
It aims to contribute to the prevention of climate change by rewarding and promoting facilities with positive environmental initiatives.
The Green Key Award has 7 main objectives:

1. Environmental Protection by reducing the negative impacts of the facility on the environment, taking measures such as energy and water conservation, using eco-friendly cleaning products, and waste management.
2. Economic Management through cost reduction achieved by minimizing the consumption of electricity, water, fuel, and cleaning material waste.
3. Marketing Advantage by increasing the prestige of awarded facilities and the Green Key label.
4. Strengthening Tourism by contributing to sustainable tourism.
5. Education to raise environmental awareness among owners, staff, and customers, and support sustainable development.
6. Awareness to raise awareness about energy and water conservation and reduce consumption values.

Recognition by showcasing the information of the awarded facility internationally.
